Saide Bespa is a project that aims to give a slightly more vintage look to couples photo shoots, especially at weddings and / or other special events, offering the rental of an original and recently restored Vespa scooter. For this project I developed the brand design and collaborated in the naming, which creates a play on words between the Portuguese phrase “Sai de” (go out …) and the English word “side” (sidecar). The name Bespa is in reference to the accent of the city of Oporto, which changes the “V” to “B”.
The design of the brand was based on the front silhouette of the Vespa using the same green color of the restored scooter, and a calligraphic typography of similar to sign painting. Along with the brand I have developed an illustration for the facebook cover and other applications. The illustration is made by hand and with digital coloring.
